What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection, security of our users, security of our platform and for any comments or media that is against or Terms of Use.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

We reserve the right to share usage data with our third-party providers. The usage data that we may provide does not contain any personal or identifying information of the user.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment or post a message, the data and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit your profile information. Website administrators can not see your password. Website administrators will also not change your password even per your request. A password reset is available that will send a reset link to the email address on your profile.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. A request for personal data can be sent to info@collab.tube. The information for the personal data needs to be requested and sent to the same email address that is on the profile. If you delete your account, we (CollabTube) may no longer have access to that data, so all personal data requests need to come from an active account on the site.

Where we send your data

Posts and comments may be automatically checked through a spam and/or language filter.

Your contact information

Your contact information is only updated by you, and you can control who sees or has access to your contact information. We do not share or sell your contact information to any third-party providers. Administrators of this website have access to your contact information, but will not share or sell that information with anyone outside of Idea Pro LLC DBA CollabTube.

Additional information

How we protect your data

We do not store credit card information or any credit information about you on our website. If you have made a purchase on our website, your credit card information is stored in a third-party PCI Compliant location. If we need to recharge your card per your permission, we use a security API key, API password, your unique profile key and your unique payment key to process the transaction. All data transmitted on our website or to our third-party payment processor is transmitted over a TLS 1.2 256 bit encryption SSL Certificate Key. Our TLS 1.2 encryption SSL certificate is provided and renewed every 90 days by Let’s Encrypt.

Your address is entered by you and used to determine the distance of other creators and is stored in our database, but is not shown on the website.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We have taken many precautions in securing your data and our website. In the event that a data breach occurs, we have the following procedures in place. One or all procedures may be performed depending on the severity of the breach.

  • The Website and Platform (https://collab.tube) may be removed from public access while we investigate the breach.
  • Logins, accounts and access to the platform may become inactive while we investigate the breach.
  • We will notify all users by email if their information has been compromised or of a possible compromise.
  • If we feel the breach has caused the platform to be unstable, we may keep the platform offline while we fix or repair the security issue.

What third parties we receive data from

We only receive information from third-party providers that you grant us access to. Site we pull information from with your permission:

  • YouTube – We currently pull (if you allow it from YouTube) your subscriber count, number of videos, number of views, your latest videos and your profile (public profile) information.
  • Twitter – Your Url that you provide.
  • Linkedin – Your Url that you provide.
  • Instagram – Your Url that you provide.
  • Facebook – Your Url that you provide.
  • SnapChat – Your username that you provide.
  • Skype – Your username that you provide.
  • WhatsApp – Your username that you provide.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We allow our users to police and report any post or comments that other users feel are inappropriate or violate our Terms and Conditions. Language automation may be implemented if we feel users are abusing the site / platform and posting remarks that violate our Terms and Conditions.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

All users of the site are presented with a notification of our Cookie policy for GDPR ( General Data Protection Regulation ) compliancy. The information in this Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are presented to anyone that creates an account on our website. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or our Privacy Policy, please do not use our website.

All users of our website warrant that they are at the minimum age of 18 years old or legal adult age for their country or region.
